The Mater Cars for Cancer Lottery was launched in October 2004, as an initiative of the Mater Foundation to raise vital funds for Cancer research and treatment.
This is a limited lottery with only 15,000 tickets available for each of the six Cars for Cancer lotteries per year. The main prize is valued at over $70,000 and alternates between Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) and Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), three of each per year.
The funds raised through the lottery assist the Mater Medical Research Institute (MMRI), the Mater Prostate Cancer Research Centre, Multiple Myeloma, Breast Cancer and the Queensland Cord Blood Bank. |
