    Friday November 7th 2008.
  • Friday is November 7th, also known as 7-11, which means it's free slurpee time at your local 7-11 store. Just wish the store operator a "happy 7-eleven day" between 7am and 11pm to receive a free small slurpee of your choice!
If the Slurpee page isn't showing the free offer, then click here for a screenshot I took earlier.
  • For those of us who "participated" in the Catch Of The Day sale on Wednesday 29th October ... you may be interested to read the blogs from a soon-to-be-ex-employee here and here.
  • Yesterday's Powerball didn't go off, so next week will be worth Ten Million Dollars. Also, Tuesday's OzLotto didn't go off, so will be worth Twenty Million Dollars next week. If you haven't claimed it already, then don't forget about OzLotteries' free $5 credit that you can use on these, or any other draws.
  • Thank you R. from GrowingUpGreen for this one! • Changed the background again in the lead-up to Remembrance Day on November 11th.

  • GENERAL NOTICES:
     1.  The Trivia Competition glitched yesterday - the 'subject' updated, but the scores didn't, and we couldn't actually access the trivia competition for today. See the Trivia Forums for other people chatting about this glitch.
      2.  I've updated all the backgrounds to reflect the Melbourne Cup today, and they'll change again tomorrow for America's election on their July 4th.

    Saturday November 1st 2008.

  • Apologies to those disappointed in the Catch Of The Day sale on Wednesday 29th ... I too missed out ... was hoping to get my mitts on the digital camera, but it wasn't to be. There was an interesting thread about the sale at Whirlpool, which also suffered strain from heavy usage from people wanting to talk about COTD. If you too missed out during the sale, then the WP thread makes for an interesting read.
  • As always, if you enjoy OzFree, please tell a friend. If you didn't enjoy OzFree, please tell me and I'll see what I can do!
